FAQ

What subtitle formats are supported?

Currently supported formats include SubRip (.srt), WebVTT (.vtt, .webvtt), Advanced SubStation Alpha (.ass, .ssa), SAMI (.smi), and MicroDVD/SubViewer (.sub).

How can I quickly fix a messed-up timeline after uploading?

This tool focuses on extracting plain text. During conversion it automatically removes all timestamps and styling tags, so the exported TXT does not contain any timeline information.

What should I do if the exported text looks garbled?

The tool parses text as UTF-8 by default. If your subtitle file is encoded in GBK or another encoding, open it in Notepad and “Save As” UTF-8 first, then upload it again.

What is the file size limit for batch processing?

To keep the browser responsive, the tool currently supports single-file upload only, with a maximum file size of 5 MB per file.
